Delete your account

You can delete your Phyler account and all of its data at any time.

In the app

1. Open the app and go to your Profile.
2. Open Settings.
3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Your account is deleted straight away. This can't be undone.

Without the app

If you no longer have the app, email privacy@phylerapp.com from the email address linked to your Google or Apple sign-in, and tell us your username if you know it. We'll confirm the request is from you, then delete the account within 30 days and email you when it's done.

What gets deleted

• Your profile, username, avatar and date of birth
• All your catches, photos, personal bests and badges
• Your posts, comments and reactions
• Who you follow and who follows you
• Groups you created (and their content), and your membership of other groups
• Copies of your photos used to improve species identification

What we may keep

Server logs and backups can contain traces of your account for a short time before they're overwritten in the normal course of things. We don't use them to restore deleted accounts. See how long we keep data.
